How to choose the suitable operating speed of the glass cutting machine?

Before cutting, the cutting speed of the glass cutting machine can be set by the operator . In order to achieve cutting quality, there is a range of cutting speeds between different operating speeds. The range can be selected according to the description of the device  can be determined through experiment.

Due to the thickness of the material itself  the quality of the material, the cutting speed changes with the melting point, thermal conductivity  surface tension after melting.

1. Properly increasing the cutting speed can improve the quality of the incision, even if the incision is slightly narrow, the surface of the incision is smooth,  the deformation is small.

2. When the cutting speed is too fast, the cutting line energy cannot be lower than the required value. The jet in the slit can't blow away the molten cutting fluid immediately, it will form a greater resistance. As abrasive debris hangs on the incision, the surface quality of the incision decreases.

3. When the cutting speed is too low, because the cutting point is the anode of the plasma arc, in order to maintain the stability of the arc itself, the anode point  anode area must find a conductive current near the cutting slit closest to the arc, while passing more Heat. Use the radial direction of the jet to expand the incision. The molten material on both sides of the incision gathers  solidifies at the bottom edge,  the slag gathers  solidifies at the bottom edge to form a slag that is  easy to clean. The upper edge of the incision is heated  melted into rounded corners.

4. When the speed is very low, the arc will disappear because of the wide cut. It can be seen that good cutting quality  cutting speed are inseparable.
